I run your operationsand build the AIthat scales them.

18 years running operations at scale, from launching new products at Apple to scaling a startup through IPO and leading major enterprise transformations at Fortune 500 companies.

Now I build the AI systems, automations, and products that put operating discipline on autopilot, for founders and CEOs who've outgrown duct-tape ops but aren't ready for a full-time hire.

// a note from sean

An operator who builds.

I'm a builder by temperament, and I've spent eighteen years learning how operations actually work from the inside.

At Apple I ran a Mac operations team across the MacBook, Mac mini, Mac Studio, and accessory lines, standing up two factories in China to launch them. At ChargePoint I led product operations and strategic manufacturing as we scaled from $5M to $120M in quarterly revenue, startup through IPO. At Hershey I ran an international co-manufacturing partnership in China, built greenfield factories in West Africa, and finally led enterprise transformation across the entire company. Different continents, different industries, one job: turn chaos into an operating system.

The last few years I've pointed all of that at software. I've personally built and shipped more than a dozen production products: an AI animation platform, financial and fintech tools, automation systems, and internal operating dashboards. When you hire me, you get one person who can set the strategy, build the thing, and stay on the hook for the outcome.

// questions

Questions I get a lot.

What does Sean Wright actually do?

I'm a fractional operations leader who also builds. I run operations as an interim COO or CPO, and I personally build the AI systems, automations, and software that make those operations scale. One person, from strategy through shipped product.

Are you a fractional COO or a software developer?

Both, and that's the point. I spent 18 years running operations at Apple, ChargePoint, and Hershey, and the last few years building 12+ production software products. The rare part is getting both from one person.

Can you really build the software, or do you just advise?

I build it myself. Pippa (an AI animation platform), ARIA (an AI operating system), and client automation systems are all hands-on builds, not subcontracted work. The proof is in the selected work above.

What kinds of companies do you work with?

Founders and operators who need senior operations leadership, and teams that need AI and automation actually shipped. From early-stage startups to Fortune 500 transformation.

How do engagements work?

It starts with a 30-minute call. From there the common shapes are a fractional operations retainer, a fixed-scope AI or product build, or a focused strategy sprint. We figure out which one fits on the call.

Where are you based?

Wright Advisors is my practice as a fractional COO based in Austin, Texas, and I personally build the AI systems that scale my clients' operations. Engagements run remote first with a regular video cadence, and I work with clients across the United States.

Why fractional instead of a full-time hire?

Most companies don't need a full-time COO or CTO on day one, they need the outcomes one delivers. Fractional gets you senior judgment and hands-on building at a fraction of the cost and commitment, and it scales up or down as the need changes.

What if you're at capacity?

I intentionally run a small client roster so every engagement gets real attention. If timing doesn't work for your project, I'll tell you straight and point you toward the right next step.
